What is the Zhuang people Festival?

Zhuang people are the Tai-speaking East Asian ethnic group who live primarily in China's Guangxi province known by Zhuang Autonomous Region. Some also live in the other provinces of Yunnan, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Hunan.

Zhuang people festival also called "Sam Nyied Sam"

One of the major festivals of the Zhuang is celebrated on the 3rd day of the 3rd month of the Chinese lunar calendar with music, dance, sports, and special food.

Guangxi university arranged a gathering of students from different colleges on 10 April 2021 at the west campus ground. 

The purpose of the gathering was to show the Traditional Festival of Zhuang People activities. 

Many colleges and Students Union from Guangxi university participated in these festival activities. 

Here I am gonna show you some activities of the festival which I have captured.

Zhuang people cultural dances

There are many cultural dances of the Zhuang people. For example

(1)Bronze-drum dance 

(2)Sun (tang'vaenz) dance.

(3)Hand-towel dance.

(4)Paper-horse dance.

(5)Straw-man dance.

(6)Water-buffalo dance (longh yah vaiz)
