Categories of Applicants and Duration of Scholarship

The Categories of Applicants, including Master and Doctorate students, determine the Duration of Major Studies, Preparatory Chinese Language Studies, and the Duration of Scholarship, with Master students typically studying for 3 academic years and Doctorate students for 4 academic years.

Deadline for Application

The application deadline is set for February 15, 2024, and all applicants must submit their application documents electronically to the email address lxs@gxu.edu.cn. Please note that there is no requirement to send hard copies through postal mail to the university.

When sending your application via email, use the following format for the email title: "CSC + [Your Country's Name] + [Your Full Name]."

Kindly ensure that you adhere to the specified application requirements; failing to do so may result in immediate rejection of your application.

Qualifications of Applicants

1. Applicants should be in good health and non-Chinese citizens with a 10-year of experience living, studying or working in the domiciliary country.

2. Applicants should respect and observe the laws and regulations in China.

3. Education background and age limit:

- Applicants for master studies shall have a bachelor’s degree and should be under the age of 35.

- Applicants for Doctorate studies shall have a master’s degree and should be under the age of 40.

4. Basic requirements for language proficiency

- Applicants for postgraduate programs (master's and doctorate) taught in Chinese language should at least have past the HSK4 test before the application.

- Applicants for programs taught in the English language (some doctoral programs) shall at least have scored 6.0 in IELTS or 80 in TOEFL before the application.

Monthly Stipend

For PhD= 3500RMB

For Master=3000RMB

Students shall be responsible for their expenses of transportation.

Two online forms should be filled out.

Sign up on the Chinese Government Scholarship website and read the instructions carefully. www.csc.edu.cn/laihua
Fill your information carefully.
Select the application B category.
Put the Guangxi University Agency number 10593
Fill out the form and upload all required documents, then submit.
Download the form and save the form with " CSC Scholarship+country name+your full name"

2nd. Guangxi University website

Now sign up on the Guangxi University Website https://gxu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx
Fill the form carefully.
Upload all files, also the form you downloaded from CSC website.
Submit the form.
Download the form.

Now, send an email to lxs@gxu.edu.cn and attach all the below documents. The email subject should be CSC Scholarship+country name+applicant's full name"
